Responsibilities of the Ranong Highway District:
Routine Maintenance: Supervising, repairing, maintaining, cleaning, and enhancing highways. These are regular activities to ensure highways remain in a usable condition, providing convenience and safety for road users and preventing further damage.
Scheduled Maintenance: Repairing highways according to schedule to extend their service life and strengthen them to accommodate increased future traffic volume.
Special Maintenance and Restoration: Repairing severely damaged highways requiring extensive restoration to their original condition.
Safety Management: Constructing, installing, improving, and modifying traffic control equipment, bicycle lanes, pedestrian overpasses, bus stops, and related facilities to ensure convenience and safety for road users.
Emergency Work: Repairing and remediating highways or government property severely damaged by unforeseen accidents.
Machinery Management: Planning the efficient use of road machinery and maintaining it in good working condition at all times.
